Delilah is Missing!
$250.00 REWARD
Brown Tabby Female about 3 years old
Call 717-818-1375
Delilah was adopted from HOKAFI on March 21. The front door of her new home flew open on the night of April 26, and she disappeared. She had spent most of the first three years of her life at the Helen O. Krause shelter, and has no experience fending for herself. She is a very shy cat, and so it is requested that individuals who might spot her not try to catch her, but simply call the number above, so that someone who does know her can come to get her.
She disappeared from her home on Honey Road, which, according to the Facebook post/report, “is this side of Rossville, beside Old York Road near Kennedy’s trailer sales, near part of the Game Lands.” Traps have been set at the home and a volunteer is checking them daily. Flyers have been posted. It is critical that we find her as soon as possible. Please call the number above if you see her, so that those who are assisting with her search know where to concentrate their efforts.
These photographs of Delilah were taken from Petfinder (the one on top is featured on the flyers that are being posted in the area). I apologize that I cannot offer proper credit to the person who took them.
Thank you for passing on this information to anyone in the local area who might be in a position to see little lost Delilah! We must find her!
I’m tagging this post in such a way that anyone who might find her and do a search on line (in Google, etc.) for a missing cat in that area of Pennsylvania will hopefully see that we’re looking for one.
Hang in there, Delilah! We won’t let you down!
I’d like to send a note of thanks to the person who is offering the reward for Delilah’s return. I don’t know who you are, but I’m very grateful for your generosity. Thank you.

Oh, Dear! This hurts my heart. Poor Delilah was trying to come back home. I know it in my heart. I only hope she finds her way.
I think you were right. And in the end, she IS back home.
Thank Goodness! See that she stays there!
I’ve shared this post with Twitter and googl+. I pray that she will go home soon!
Please come back, Delilah!!
Thank you so much, Canon!!
Lemony, Just wanted to update you on Delilah. Several volunteers got together and formed a search party on Thursday evening, May 2. We found our sweet baby Delilah. Delilah is now back at the shelter safe and sound.
Hooray!! Thank you so much for letting me know!
She was found stuffed behind a very tall furnace and could not get back out. Still makes me cry thinking about it. I don’t think she was back there the entire 6 days or she would have lost more weight. We think she kept alluding Chris and I as we kept searching for her inside. My thoughts are she was on top of the furnace as she liked high places. The woman got company Monday night and she is quite loud. I think she either fell back there or jumped as she was scared. She thought she heard her Tues AM but did not inform me until I was back there for the 6 th time Tues night. We formed a search party for Wed night. 6 of us got there and turned the place over until she was spotted. I said we are not leaving until we find our girl. I can’t describe the feeling I had. The relieft was overwhelming. The sad ending to this story is the woman should not have a pet in the horrid conditions there. Yet she went out and got a kitten down the road. The kitten will not have a chance. But our girl is safe and we have to move on and worry about our own.
I am so happy she found… How made me sad… Sorry I read now, can’t catch the posts on time… Love, nia
