I am a volunteer at the Helen O. Krause Animal Foundation, Inc., a no-kill animal shelter in Dillsburg, PA. This blog is dedicated to the cats in Room SP#1 (Special Needs). My posts mostly revolve around the SP#1 kitties (see my first post for an introduction to the entire gang). I will be sharing the latest happenings with this fabulous feline crew, but I may offer other musings from to time just to mix things up.
When I am not visiting the beloved kitties of SP#1, I am wrangling my small child, teaching French at a small liberal arts college, translating poetry, studying Japanese, obsessively taking photographs, drinking Lung Ching, reading, playing with my own cats, and practicing yoga (occasionally all at the same time).
